Our poster titled “RF Energy Harvesting Implantable Single Chip Wireless Intraocular Pressure Monitor (IOPM)” won the best poster award in the EE Days. Posters were  judged by an International Committee of Eminent Scientists and Engineers. The research presented was conducted by a team of students (Mahmoud Ouda and Talha Ahmed) and was lead by postdoctoral fellow, Dr Muhammad Arsalan, who is also a  Natural Science & Engineering Research Council of Canada Fellow.
EE plays a critical role in how the world uses technology such as electricity and power systems, information technology, audio-visual and biomedical instrumentation. “Electrical Engineering (EE) is a broad and dynamic field and our courses equip students for a successful and productive career,” remarked Professor and Electrical Engineering Program Chair, Dr. Boon Ooi.
