We are happy to welcome two more students to our lab this summer. So far we have a mix of undergraduate and masters students from all over t he world.  Currently they come from Saudi (4), Vietnam (2), Kazakhstan (2), Egypt (1), Brazil (1) and China (1). The latest are:

Ali Hassan (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree from the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2014.
He is currently a M.Sc. student at the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. His research interests include low-power and high-performance circuit design for deep-submicron CMOS technologies, emerging new technologies, neural recording/stimulation systems; optical neural stimulators; low-power/high-performance ADCs/DACs; low-power sensor readout circuits; low-power analog-merged signal circuits; power management systems and circuits; energy harvesting systems; internet of things (IoT); ultra-low power transceivers.

Tran Minh Thong is a third-year student at the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, Vietnam. He's interested in embedded
system and the realistic application of embedded in life. He's here for the internship focusing on stochastic computing. His work at
KAUST is in collaboration with Dr. Cuong Pham-Quoc at the Department Computer Science & Engineering, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, Vietnam.
