A research paper authored by Dr. Abdelhameed Sharaf and Dr. Sherif Sedky of the AUC, along with Dr. Amro Elshurafa and Dr. Mohamed Serry of KAUST (and others), was featured on the cover page of the Sensors and Transducers Journal.
A paper entitled “A fully symmetric and completely decoupled MEMS-SOI Gyroscope” was presented at the nanotech expo conference in Anaheim, California, USA, in 2010. Of all the submitted papers in the conference, only 30 papers were invited to submit an extended version as a journal. Out of the 30 invited conference papers, following peer review, only 8 papers were selected to be included in a special issue on sensors. The paper submitted by KAUST and AUC was among the accepted journals and was also featured on the cover page of this special issue.
Congratulations to our sensors lab team member, Dr. Amro Elshurafa, for this accomplishment!
