A paper entitled “Memristor-Based Reactance-Less Oscillator” by M. Affan Zidan, Hesham Omran, Dr. Ahmed Radwan and Prof. Khaled salama has been accepted  in October's issue of the Electronics Letters. This paper was selected among 5 papers out of 28 to be included in the “In Brief” section. A memristor-based oscillator without the need for any capacitors or inductors is presented by researchers in Saudi Arabia. The reactance-less oscillator can be fully implemented on-chip, enabling an area efficient implementation for low-frequency oscillators, and has applications in biomedical and embeddedsystems.
