Prof. khaled N. Salama has received a KAUST Academic Excellence Alliance Grant on Towards Efficient Nanoelectronic Systems for Biomedical Sensing in collaboration with Prof. Dennis Sylvester, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. The objective is to develop a Sub-mm scale wireless data link for intraocular pressure sensing device. The wireless data link is designed to support a novel dual frequency VCO and uses FSK modulation, which carries bits at two different frequencies located in different frequency bands in order to make miniaturization and integration possible.
