Walaa Khushaim

Ph.D. Student, Bioengineering

Walaa Khushaim is a Ph.D. student at the Sensors Lab in the Electrical Engineering Program, CEMSE, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Walaa received her MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, U.K., in 2018. She obtained a Biochemistry bachelor's degree from Queens University of Charlotte, USA, in 2016. Research Interests Walaa Khushaim is interested in developing next-generation biomedical devices for point of care diagnostics.

Abdullah Bukhamsin

Ph.D. Student, Electrical and Computer Engineering

MEMS microfluidics 3D electrodes Biosensors

Abdullah Bukhamsin is a Ph.D. student at the Sensors Lab, in the Bioengineering Department, under the supervision of Professor Khaled Nabil Salama at KAUST. Prior to this, Abdullah obtained an M.S. Degree in Engineering under the supervision of Professor Jurgen Kosel at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Abdullah Bukhamsin received his B.Sc. degree in Bioengineering from Rice University (Houston, Texas) in 2018. Following that, he completed his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
